On Thursday, August 14, 2025, we gathered to celebrate a truly special occasion at The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust! Our post-16 class of 2025 received their examination results for A Levels, BTECs, and Cambridge Technicals, marking a fantastic milestone in their educational journey.

These remarkable graduates were the very same students who shone brightly in their GCSEs in 2023, helping to rank our college as one of the top-performing institutions in Hillingdon Borough. Their journey has been characterised by focus, determination, and a resilience that truly sets them apart. Not only have they excelled academically, but they have also enriched our Trust community through numerous clubs, societies, and even a tuck shop, while acting as mentors to their younger peers in Key Stages 3 and 4. They’ve brought such warmth and enthusiasm to our Trust, and we will miss their vibrant spirit. As they step into the world as esteemed alumni, we’re excited to follow their paths and how they continue to flourish beyond college. No matter where life takes them, they will always be part of our Rosedale family. We are confident they will become leaders in society, holding the promise of a bright future.

For many of our teachers, it’s been an incredible journey watching this cohort grow from Year 7 to Year 13. The 2025 class has consistently been full of energy — cheeky, charming, and charismatic! It’s been a privilege to witness their development over these seven years. From their first day in Year 7, they were an absolute joy to teach, and their enthusiasm never waned. They’re passionate thinkers, capable of generating imaginative ideas, tackling even the most complex problems, and exceeding expectations. This cohort is truly bright, bold, and beloved. Their convictions are strong, and they possess the ability to engage in meaningful discussions with skill and flair. Their ambitions are sky-high, and there’s no doubt they will stop at nothing to achieve their dreams. The collective spirit of this cohort shines through in their outstanding results and the exciting paths they’re about to embark on.

This year has been extraordinary, with our 2025 students securing Apprenticeships. This accomplishment is a direct result of their unwavering dedication, organization, and determination. For those heading off to university, they are diversifying into a myriad of fields! From Business Management, to Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical and Aerespace), Physiotherapy, Aeronautics and Astro Physics and Teacher Training, Humanities (Politics, Psychology, International Relations, Law) to Computer Science, Medicine, the range of their pursuits is nothing short of inspiring. Their choices underscore our commitment at The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust: whatever your aspirations, we are here to support you all the way!

As a GCSE student, Mozahidul exemplified perseverance and self-motivation. His resilience stood out; he consistently aimed for excellence and never wavered in his efforts. He took the time to reflect on his work and the valuable feedback from his teachers, always striving to improve.

Throughout his Post-16 journey, Mozahidul’s focus and determination were particularly notable. He set his sights on achieving the highest grades possible and worked diligently to reach that goal. Beyond academics, he was actively engaged in extracurricular activities, serving as an outstanding ambassador. He not only

contributed valuable suggestions but also fully participated in initiatives that enriched the experiences of his fellow Post-16 students, as well as those in KS3 and KS4. Mozahidul truly embodies the spirit of success, no wonder he is 2025 Post 16 Top Performer. With aspirations to become a medical practitioner, I am confident he will excel in his future endeavours.

When I think of the terms "highly focused" and "calm-spirited," Shivam immediately comes to mind. He is a diligent and passionate student who dedicates himself entirely to his studies. Always eager to learn, he remains steadfastly committed to achieving his best. Do not think for a moment that Shivam would ever wallow in disappointment; he is the type who will get up, brush himself off, and try again. Shivam has a particular passion for Humanities subjects, and his essay writing is remarkably advanced for his age. He works hard, and I am confident that every teacher who has taught him would describe him as a model student—reflective and always open to constructive guidance. He is one of those students who is easy to teach. I believe he will become one of our future leaders, and I am sure that he will make us proud. As he moves forward, I hope he continues to express his vibrant personality, which has significantly shaped his journey thus far. There is a bright future ahead for him, and I do not doubt that he will continue to be a success story. Congratulations, Shivam—we knew you could do it!

Ramone stands out as an exceptional student with an unwavering passion for Mathematics. His enthusiasm for the subject is unmistakable; if there's one thing you know about him, it's that he truly loves Mathematics. As a hardworking and focused learner, Ramone consistently displays remarkable resilience in everything he undertakes. His proactive 'get on with it' attitude has propelled him to excel in his studies. He's also confident in sharing his insights when prompted, which adds immense value to discussions. We are confident that he will thrive in any path he decides to pursue. Having him in class is a delight; he consistently meets expectations and embodies a true love for learning.

Ammar embodies a quiet confidence and a deep appreciation for learning. He consistently sets ambitious goals and works diligently toward achieving them. His hardworking and respectful demeanour makes him a standout presence in the program, and his teachers will surely miss having a student of his exceptional calibre. With an unwavering determination, Ammar has never allowed the concept of "failure" to hold him back. He brings joy to the classroom, and his peers often refer to him as a “cool guy.” His true passion lies in numerical subjects, where he has not only excelled but also inspired those around him. Yasin has truly been a remarkable presence in our program, making a lasting impression on both his peers and teachers alike! His charming mix of politeness and playfulness brings joy to every interaction, while his focused determination shines bright in any environment. It’s no surprise that James has truly excelled in his studies. He has consistently made a remarkable impact on the programme, leaving a lasting impression on both peers and teachers alike. James embodies focus, determination, helpfulness, resourcefulness, cheerfulness, reliability, politeness, and motivation.

Throughout his academic journey, he has consistently achieved excellence across all subjects, demonstrating not only strong knowledge but also a genuine passion for learning. Jaydeep exemplifies the qualities of a pragmatic student and has made a significant impact on our programme, leaving a lasting impression on both his peers and teachers. Throughout his GCSE stage, he faced challenges head-on, a trait he has continued to demonstrate in his Post-16 education. His resilience and determination have been key factors in his academic success. Jaydeep successfully balances his studies with social activities, resulting in a well-rounded character.
